Real nitrogen dioxide measured values

Reduction of the local nitrogen dioxide concentration

With our outdoor air purification system consisting of six City Air Cleaners of the type S-60, we have reduced the daily average nitrogen dioxide pollution significantly below the EU limit value of 40 micrograms per cubic metre.

NO2 pollution limit (annual mean value): 40 µg/m³
Mean NO2 concentration: 37,13 µg/m³

The measured values for the official measuring station on the Theodor-Heuss-Ring come from the database of the Federal Environment Agency. The indicated running daily mean value (each individual day is included in the calculation with the mean value from 24 individual hourly values) of the NO2 concentration results from all hourly mean values measured to date since the lifting of the construction site at the Theodor-Heuss-Ring on 27.11.2020. Since this day, the full traffic load exists again.

Please note: The data has not been adjusted. This is another reason why this value cannot be compared with the calculated annual mean values as part of the official measurements by the state environmental agencies, which may also include further measurement data, e.g. through supplementary measurements with passive collectors.
